Working with such a large slope in the project presented the opportunity for a hierarchy in program and allowed for many types of communal spaces to be created.
After visiting the site and speaking to people who live in the area, I got a good idea of how these people live and what they worry about the most and designed based on their input to make sure my design could be based in real concerns.
